Describe your job.
I am lucky enough to get to see people on their worst day, hopefully find a way to make them smile, and do everything in my power to make sure they’re around to smile again tomorrow.
How long have you been with LifeSave and what do you love most about your job?
I have been with Lifesave since December. What I love most (aside from my coworkers) is the fast- paced critical thinking that is different for each call and each patient. Also my coworkers.
Do you have an office nickname?
Not to my face
What are your hobbies?
Sky sports and anything outdoors- skydiving, paragliding, hiking, camping, climbing, running, biking, boating.
Who is the most important person (or people) in your life?
My little sister is my every-day inspiration to be a kinder, better and more empathetic person.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Anywhere with a good margarita
What is the best place you have ever been?
What is your favorite LifeSave memory?
Finally getting my first intubation with Bruce Woods as my partner.
What TV show or movie is your guilty pleasure?
Not big on TV, maybe Rick and Morty
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I might be tiny, but I am strong (yes, the Meret bag is almost as big as me, yes I can carry it, but thank you)
If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?
Don’t fight so hard for the things you think you need (or need to accomplish), life has an incredibly weird knack for presenting opportunities when the time is right.
What do you like most about being a part of LifeSave?
My coworkers are all rockstars, I have a job where I feel like I can genuinely make a difference, and I get to work on aircraft. What more can a girl want?
What is one thing on your bucket list?
Travel the world
What is your favorite employee benefit or perk of the job?
Getting to learn the area via flying all over. I also have no concept of how far apart everything is around here still, every time I get in the car and drive somewhere, I’m shocked.
Who’s your mentor?
I am so lucky, this question is hard to answer. So many amazing humans and nurses have helped me get to where I am today, and are still willing to answer oddly timed texts and calls when I am in need.
