Helicopter Assistant Chief Pilot and Operational Safety Manager

Describe your job.

As Helicopter Assistant Chief I ensure that all RW pilots are operating within the safety standards of the company and the regulations set forth by the FAA. As Operational Safety Manager I evaluate the OHIR process and work with the Safety Team to implement effective processes to optimize safety at LifeTeam.

How long have you been with LifeSave and what do you love most about your job?

One Year. I get to fly helicopters and save lives for a living!

Scene Queen (because I used to get all the scene calls at LS21)

What are your hobbies?

Reading, Jigsaw Puzzles, The Sunday NY Times Crossword

My Family

Subway… All Day Every Day

What t.v. show or movie is your guilty pleasure?

Ghostbusters

Where is the best place you have ever been?

Paris France (Why is the butter so good there?)

I’m Living It!

What is one thing on your bucket list?

Attend the Kentucky Derby (wearing a Fancy Hat)!

What is the best advice you have ever been given?

You can always fly helicopters! (Said by my daddy when I had to get glasses in the second grade and thought my dreams of flight were over)

What do you like most about being part of LifeSave?

It feels like I was always meant to be here

What is your favorite LifeSave memory?

Being part of the rescue operation after the Hesston shooting.

What is something you’d say you’re crazy for or obsessed with?

Cleaning and decluttering

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I was a foreign exchange student twice during high school. First to Finland and then to Austria.
