LifeTeam to Rebrand as LifeSave Transport

LifeTeam, a critical care air and ground transport company, is pleased to announce a new development in its brand. This summer, AirMD, LLC d/b/a LifeTeam will begin the process of transitioning to the d/b/a name, LifeSave Transport. Working in partnership with Gardner Design of Wichita, an updated logo has been designed and a new website is set to launch this summer.

LifeTeam’s transition to LifeSave in no way reflects any change in ownership of the company, personnel, locations, or the services offered. This enrichment of the LifeTeam brand does reflect the continued patient focus and dedication by the same locally operated and managed team of experts. Driven by compassion, LifeSave’s mission ready crews are available 24/7 to provide the care needed.

The decision to rebrand LifeTeam is intended to avoid name confusion and offer continued growth in a way that benefits partners and customers, as well as distinguish the award-winning services and dedication LifeTeam offers the community. The timing of the rebrand also fits with LifeTeam’s recent purchase AMR Air’s Hawaii operation, which needed a new name. LifeSave KūPono is on board and operating in Hilo, Honolulu, and Maui, Hawaii.

“We are very pleased at the opportunity growth has presented to us to develop a name that is uniquely our own. Our research and development section has already applied the new name to patented clinical and process software which will be released this summer. Our education department, membership program, and clinical operations team deserved the special recognition for the outstanding work they do. It just made sense to be able to grow under our own brand,” said Dr. Martin Sellberg, President and CEO.

With over 18 years of equity and a strong reputation behind its name, LifeTeam selected LifeSave Transport as an enhancement of the current brand rather than an entirely different identity. The LifeSave Transport logo, completed by Gardner Design, accomplishes many elements LifeTeam sought to retain while updating the brand with a fresh, modern look. As part of the rebranding process, beginning in May through the end of December 2018, LifeTeam will be phasing in the new look on materials, packaging, website, and social media platforms with the help of Gardner Design. All of LifeTeam’s contact information including addresses, phone numbers, emergency line, and fax numbers remain the same. LifeSave’s new state-of-the-art website is also set to debut later this summer and will feature a more user-friendly experience.

LifeTeam is a complete medical transport system, which includes fixed wing, rotor wing, ground ambulances, state-of-the art communication center, in-house maintenance facility, education department, and patient billing division. LifeTeam operates emergency transport aircraft under its own FAA part 135 certificates in Dodge City, Emporia, Garden City, Hutchinson, Liberal, and Colby, Kansas, and in McCook and Hastings, Nebraska with ground transport vehicles in Wichita and Newton, KS; as well as fixed wing aircraft bases in, Austin, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada and Hilo, Honolulu, and Maui, Hawaii.
