LifeSave Launches Ground Operations in Southwest Kansas

LifeSave Transport, a ground and critical care air transport company, is pleased to announce the opening of ground operations located in Dodge City, KS. The new addition, now in service, provides a 24/7 dedicated ALS ground ambulance based out of Western Plains Medical Complex and serves the Southwest Kansas region. The ground unit further enhances existing resources in the region by joining LifeSave’s current system which includes a helicopter in Dodge City, a King Air in Liberal, along with a King Air and helicopter in Garden City.

A ribbon cutting celebration open to the general public is set for Wednesday, December 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Western Plains Medical Complex and will include light refreshments as well as tours of the ground ambulance. 

“The need is high for additional long-distance ground transport resources in Dodge City and surrounding communities in Western Kansas. For LifeSave, it is all about doing the best for our patients, always.  We look forward to continue working hand-in-hand with the fine team of providers and nursing staff at Western Plains Medical Complex as well as others in the region,” said Kathy Boughner, LifeSave Regional Medical Base Manager.
