LifeSave Transport Acquires AMR Hawaii Operations

LifeSave KūPono, a critical care air ambulance company, is pleased to announce the purchase of AMR’s Air Ambulance Operations in Hawaii. Also known as AirMD, LLC d/b/a LifeTeam, LifeSave has worked in partnership for patient care with AMR on Hawaii operations since 2013 by providing aviation services, and with the sale has assumed full control of the medical bases located in Hilo, Honolulu, and Maui.
LifeSave KūPono will continue to provide excellent life-saving care via a complete system for the islands so every patient needing rapid transport can receive a higher level of care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The state-of-the-art communication center located at LifeSave’s headquarters in Wichita, KS will coordinate each transport, and be completed by LifeSave KūPono’s expert medical crews.

LifeSave Transport is a complete medical transport system, which includes fixed wing, rotor wing, ground ambulances, state-of-the art communication center, in-house maintenance facility, education department, and patient billing division. LifeSave operates emergency transport aircraft under its own FAA part 135 certificates in Dodge City, Emporia, Garden City, Hutchinson, Liberal, and Colby, Kansas, and in McCook and Hastings, Nebraska with ground transport vehicles in Wichita and Newton, KS; as well as fixed wing aircraft bases in, Austin, Texas, Las Vegas, Nevada and Hilo, Honolulu, and Maui, Hawaii.
